It’s a piece of technology - software - that is part of your ISP’s (Internet Service Provider’s) site, and can be accessible to you. It is on their server, so it is nothing you have to install on your own computer and mess around with.

To go even further than that, though, I do recommend you put more on the CD-ROM than just the reports. You can also put a link library or a link list of sites all related to the topic that your CD-ROM is showing. You can sell advertising on the CD. There are lots of things you can do with the CD-ROM.

Another very good technique you can use in your copy is the P.S. technique.
Many times when you look at a sales letter, you’ll notice that it has a P.S. (postscript) - and most of them keep going with P.P.S.’s, P.P.P.S.’s, etc.
These postscripts are very powerful tools in your copy - you should always include them in your copy! Why? Because in your P.S. you condense the whole offer into a few lines of copy, and make it exciting again. It’s your biggest and most grand selling attempt in your whole sales letter!
Why repeat your offer in a P.S. you ask? Studies show that when people receive sales letters most of them turn directly to the back page and read the P.S. first. They look to see who’s signed the letter.

Try to explore the real reasons they are making money. Try to look behind the promotion into the heart of why that particular web site is working or making money. What’s behind their success? Why do people get excited when they visit those web sites? Why do people fork over their credit card and purchase those products?

You can go to that same market and say, “I’ve got something that is similar to this product that’s working well.” Or, you can use their themes or their main copy formulas for whatever you’re selling. I have a huge binder full of ads and sales letters. In fact, I have more than one binder full of ads and sales letters that other people are using. If I see an ad or a sales letter that I know is powerful and making a huge profit, or if I see phrases or headlines that I like, I photocopy it or just take the whole ad and stick it right in a binder and keep a collection.
That collection is very valuable to me whenever I go to create new ads and sales letters! If you don’t already have a collection of ads and sales letters, you should definitely start your own collection! You can come up with all kinds of breakthrough ideas just by studying sales materials that other companies are using. Then find ways to transfer those ideas and concepts into your own promotions.
Here’s a trick that most people never think about! When you come across a web site that you know is getting a lot of traffic, you can actually print that web site out on your printer and add it to your collection of ads and sales letters. You could create an entire section in your binder that contains only web sites.
Most people don’t even think about printing web sites out. They see good web sites and they just try to remember what they saw, or they’ll jot down a little note and try to remember where the address was for that web site so they can return to it. Memories fade quickly!

By actually printing out the web site, you can add it to your collection and have a file containing Internet promotions and sales letters. The nice thing about most web sites printouts is the fact that they actually list the web site address right along the bottom of the printed page so you can have a permanent imprint of where that web site was if you need to go back and see if they’ve updated it, and to see if they’re testing new things.
By collecting the ads and sales letters you see in print in magazines, newspapers, and direct mail pieces, and adding that extra dimension of printing web sites that you see directly off the Internet and adding those to your collection, you can create a huge collection of sales letters, ads, headlines, and all sorts of offers. Then, every time you need to create your own sales pieces or just get ideas for different products to create, you can turn to this collection! It can be an invaluable resource for you!
These ideas are pretty simple. There are just three of them. If you’ll use these ideas, you should never have an excuse again for why you don’t have any ideas! There are many ideas out there. How To Make Up To 3-Times More Money By Offering Outrageous Refund Guarantees On
Everything You Sell!
Of all the marketing tactics that have popped up through the years, certainly one of the most important and powerful is risk reversal.
Every offer has a degree of risk in it - the amount of risk varies from offer to offer. But, with the great majority of offers, the risk is on the shoulders of the prospect or customer. They’re the ones taking the chance by ordering a product through the mail or over the Internet.
They have no solid proof that you’ve got what you’re offering them. They have no proof that you really plan to give them what they pay for. How are they to know that you’re not just there to trick people into sending you money?
Likewise, people want to be taken care of if the product turns out to not turn out to be what they wanted. They want to know that they’ll get satisfaction somehow. They’re scared they’re going to hear some reason why you can’t refund their money should they be dissatisfied.
These are all different forms of risk - they make it risky for the prospect to order what you have to offer. Risk hangs heavily on a prospect’s head, and can well prove to be the basis behind a non-purchasing decision.

This is where risk reversal becomes important. Using risk reversal techniques you’re able to transfer the risk from your prospects’ shoulders to your own.
One of the most widespread use of risk reversal in direct marketing is through refund guarantees. By guaranteeing that a customer will at least get their money back, a marketer is essentially eliminating the risk to the prospect and taking on a certain amount of risk for themselves.
The amount of risk removed from the customer and placed on the marketer is dependent on how much the guarantee is in the favor of the customer. For example, a guarantee of a refund should a product be defective is less to a customer’s favor than a guarantee of receiving specific results.
Likewise, a guarantee of specific results gained from using the products is less to the customer’s favor than a guarantee that if the product does not meet the customer’s standards it can be returned for a full refund.
From one to the next, there is less and less risk for the customer and more and more risk placed upon the shoulders of the marketer. A simple defective product refund leaves a customer very little room to return a product for a refund. With a “specific results not met” example, though, there are more factors and accidents that might lead to a refund situation to the detriment of the marketer.

The “satisfaction guaranteed or your money back” type of guarantee is the most powerful of all. “Satisfaction” will be determined only by the prospect’s opinion and point of view - nothing else. Therefore, if they’re not happy with it, they can send it back for a refund. This puts a lot of risk on the marketer!
But, it is with these “outrageous” sorts of guarantees that the most sales will typically come. The risk reversal appears more than complete - in fact, the marketer has set the customer up in a situation where they virtually can’t lose if they order the product! It will therefore attract a lot more buyers - potentially three times more than a simple defective product guarantee . . . perhaps even more! This is how you could make three times more money by offering outrageous refund guarantees on anything you sell!
And there are all sorts of creative, prospect-attracting ways these sorts of guarantees can be used in offers. One of the most popular and better selling are the time-sensitive “satisfaction guaranteed” guarantees. You see these a lot on infomercials. “If you are not 100% satisfied ship it back in ten days for a full refund.”
Ten days really doesn’t give a customer a lot of leeway, does it? Companies are expanding these sorts of guarantees, and finding them successful when expanded . . . one year, five years, ten years, twenty years . . . we are even seeing LIFETIME GUARANTEES! If they’re not satisfied with the product’s performance at any point in their LIFETIME they can return it for a full refund!
These sorts of guarantees really attract customers like a fly is attracted to honey. They’re very powerful, and they could bring you a fortune in sales!

Keep Out Of Legal Trouble
By Following These
Four Rules!
There was a time when legal issues did not concern us that much. Starting out, we didn’t have much to lose. The longer we’ve been in the business, though, the longer we have realized that this attitude in the beginning was really very foolish. Legal aspects are really very important. Pay attention to them at all times.
Here we have given you several of the “black and white” rules. You must remember, though, there are many rules that are in the gray area, and you should try to learn them too.
If you follow the rules we are going to give you now, you will be able to avoid legal problems. The real key, though, is knowing how to treat people right. If you were to study most of the companies that ended up in trouble, you would find that they weren’t treating people well, whether it was dishonesty or whatever.
Here are the four “legal” rules that you must follow if you want to get rich:
1. A marketer cannot make false, or mis leading, claims in advertising.
2. A marketer cannot ignore refund requests.

3. A marketer cannot fail to ship an order within a reasonable time, unless otherwise specified, and agreed upon, by the buyer.
4. If a marketer cannot ship a product in the period they have promised, or within 30 days, the customer must be notified of any delay, and offered a refund. The choice of waiting or receiving a refund is the customer’s. If the customer elects to wait another 30 days, and the order still is not shipped, the mail-order firm must auto-matically refund the customer’s money.
Doing these four things will keep the U.S. postal inspectors off your back so you can run your business without even thinking about them!
These rules are easy to understand and comply with. They do not represent a valid reason for avoiding the potentially tremendous money-making, mail-order business. But, there are operators who are either dishonest or just plain careless, and are being shut down after too many complaints have been received by the Better Business Bureau or the U.S. Post Office. Their loss, however, can be your gain!
